Outta The Loop.

I’ve been working/hanging out with friends in the city these past three days, so I haven’t been online or watching TV lately. That means no blogging here, Twitter, Jeffro’s blog, Facebook, or uploading new photos to my Flickr (my camera has 371 images on it). Much to my surprise, however, WHEN THE FUCK DID ED MCMAHON AND BILLY MAYS DIE, TOO?

Did I take crazy pills this past week?

WHO LOVES MUSIC BLOGS?

Just throwing this out there, but I’m considering to ask other people to write as Indie Rawk Jeffro on his Indie Rawk Blog; grad school is going to start in the fall and I’m moving to NYC, and as it is now, I’m way too busy to blog. Details in the near future, but if you like making fun of hipsters and indie culture, consider it. I’ll probably still handle the “Anatomy of a Hipster” shit myself, but I’ll definitely be needing others to ghost write as Jeffro and post music/add snarky (but not outright offensive) comments.

Interpol - No I In Threesome.

“Through the storms and the light, baby, you stood by my side and life is wine.”

Yeah, threesomes are indeed a team effort — otherwise it’s just awkward sex.

Justice - D.A.N.C.E.

You know, despite all the controversy and shit surrounding Michael Jackson the past few years, there’s no denying his brilliant and illustrious career and how his music, voice, and style influenced so many artists. Case in point, this song.

However you feel about him, I for one will remember his legendary music.

Thinking about it now, sure Jackson was a crazy motherfucker, but a part of me — the one who understands and is fascinated by social and psychological disorders — feels a sense of intrigue and scientific curiosity over what drove Jackson to be so goddamned weird and bizarre. Overall, it makes me a little sad that he was unable to cope with reality in an appropriate way. If there’s a few lessons learned from his life, don’t fuck up your kids (or fuck kids), don’t let success and megalomania blind you, and if you need help seek it.

SERIOUSLY.  DON’T.

YOU.WILL.REGRET.IT.

I was warned and yet I clicked it.  Wow.

FUCK. But sooooo worth it, especially to lighten the mood of the internetz. Seriously, don’t click it or you will definitely regret it for 5 minutes. Not recommended for easily crashable computers or low speed connections.
