Who Be He?
They call him Phillip Retuta. He calls himself a visual & interactive designer, motion graphics artist, and illustrator -- an all-around artist. He's 28 years old, from Chicago, living in NYC, and has a lovely husky-lab mix named Nico.
What's All This Then?
Well, it's a fairly random tumblog of current and upcoming art endevours, photographs, comic sketches, creative philosophies, inspirations, and generally incomplete art projects.
So yeah, it's like a sketchbook.

New video via Stereogum, with an MP3 download. If you haven’t heard Field Mouse, you definitely should. One of the up and coming bands from Williamsburg/Greenpoint, Brooklyn. It’s a simple video, and I don’t mind staring into Rachel’s pretty eyes for nearly 4 minutes.
I’ve met Rachel Browne and the band, and they’re such sweethearts. In fact, Rachel was a server/hostess at one of my favorite brunch spots in Greenpoint — Brooklyn Label. Their sausage and gravy biscuits are pretty rockin’ too.
